barupPrivacy Policy

Barup is a workout app made by AMK Studio ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles and why. The short version: your training data is yours, we don't sell it, and there are no ads or third-party trackers in Barup.
Data you create
- Workouts: exercises, sets, reps, weights, session times, effort ratings and notes you write.
- Preferences: your name, session length, equipment, training goal, weekly target and rest time.
You can use Barup without an account. In that case this data stays on your device.
If you create an account
An account is optional and lets you back up and sync your training across devices. We store your email address, a securely hashed password, and the workout and preference data above. This is held by our database provider, Supabase, which processes it on our behalf.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your data.
- We don't show ads or use advertising identifiers.
- We don't use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
- We don't access your contacts, photos, location or Apple Health data.
How we use data
Only to run the app: building your workouts, adjusting weights based on your history, syncing your account, and replying when you contact support.
Keeping and deleting data
Data on your device is removed when you delete the app. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it. Email blin@amk.solutions from your account address and we'll delete your account and all synced data within 30 days.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to account data is restricted so each user can read only their own records.
Children
Barup isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
